Do you dream of creating 3D animations? This training course introduces you to Maya, one of the most popular programs for generating 3D animations and visual effects. Ideal for beginners, the course starts with a detailed overview of the Maya workspace and a step by step demonstration of how to begin a project. Once you’ve mastered the basics, it explains how to create scenes and objects, control the camera and lighting, adjust attributes and draw and sculpt polygons. Finally, it outlines how to animate and render your work.
The course takes approximately 3 hours to complete. It consists of a series of short, narrated videos that use screenshots to point you to the exact locations of important tools and clearly demonstrate each process. A menu allows you to easily navigate to a specific video whenever you wish to review important information.
