Machinery Safety

Each year a high percentage of workplace accidents involving machinery result in serious injuries or death to workers. In fact approximately 8 out of 10 workplace fatalities and 1 in 4 workplace injuries involve mechanical equipment. Many workplace injuries caused through machinery are preventable.This Machinery Safety course will help to protect your workers by introducing them to a range of mechanical and non-mechanical hazards present with machines. Once the course is completed, you’ll have learnt the common causes of machine accidents and the various risk controls that can be implemented to reduce or eliminate your exposure to the hazards present. This course is one part of a 36 part Induction Series aimed at blue-collar workers.
