Project planning provides structure and foresight for the execution stage, helping to eliminate wasteful activities and patterns. You will learn the terms Project Charter and Project Statement of Work (SOW) are often used interchangeably. Many companies use the word Charter to refer to the document that is actually the SOW.
A Statement of Work, often known as an SOW, outlines deliverables and project goals. It’s created to keep everyone on the same page about deadlines, scope of work, and project expectations.
