Ladder Safety

This course covers the basics of ladder safety, including exploring some of the major causes of ladder accidents. You’ll learn about the different materials ladders are made of and the important things you should be aware of for wood, aluminum and fiberglass ladders.
The course outlines guidelines for safely setting up a ladder and how to properly place different types of ladders for different jobs. You’ll also learn about proper inspection and maintenance procedures, and you’ll review the responsibilities of employees and managers in ensuring ladder safety in the workplace. The course features narrated video lessons that are easily accessed from the module menu, along with short lesson quizzes help you assess learning along the way. A printed Certificate of Completion is available upon successful completion of the final online test with an 80% score.
