Accepting change in the workplace can be challenging but rewarding. This course will help you identify the stages of change, the barriers to change, and ultimately, the benefits of change. With Jamie Oliver’s transformative school dinners work as an example, this course illustrates the 4 stages of change: reject, resist, reflect and resolve as well as the 3 common reasons for resisting change in the workplace: threats to organizational structure and relationships, threats to existing knowledge and skill and inadequate existing technology. To help you cope with change, we will examine characteristics of ‚Äúhardy” personalities who view change as a commitment, with control and as a welcome challenge.
In this comprehensive course, we’ll use the 4 approaches of Look, Think, Practice and Remember to help you reflect on and utilize effective strategies for accepting and living with change in your working environment.
