Italian American Heritage and Culture Month (U.S.)

Italian American Heritage and Culture Month, celebrated each October, honors the rich heritage and contributions of Italian Americans in the United States. In this course, you’ll learn about the significance and origins of Italian American Heritage and Culture Month. You’ll also be introduced to influential Italian Americans in U.S. history. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to identify ways to participate in the celebration. The OpenDoors Celebrations Series builds opportunities to learn about, recognize, and celebrate a diverse range of holidays and observances. These courses help foster and support belonging, empathy, and allyship in both your work environment and community.
