Introduction to Windows 8

This course introduces you to the new features and powerful capabilities available in the Windows 8 operating system, and offers tips on how to customize and improve your user experience. You’ll begin by exploring the start screen, particularly the live tiles, and the many options for personalizing your start screen and charms menu. You’ll discover how to multitask by working on 2 programs side-by-side, and learn about the different ways of navigating in Windows 8 and interacting with your devices. Windows 8 was built with the touch-user in mind, and in this course you’ll learn step-by-step how to use the touchscreen to perform tasks and work efficiently. Part of our Windows 8 series, this course takes appoximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete. It comes with engaging video, step-by-step instructions, and a short quiz to get you started in the Windows 8 operating system.
