Our Hotels and Inns: Housekeeping – 03. Working Safely with Ergonomics course reviews best practices based on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines, so you can stay safe and avoid injury on the job. To start, we’ll define ergonomics and describe how it relates to your duties. From there, we will describe the types of injuries you could experience on the job and review the potential risks associated with your housekeeping duties. We will also go over symptoms you shouldn’t ignore while also providing tips on how to use ergonomics to make your daily tasks easier and safer.

This course includes a video presentation, downloadable student material for future reference and concludes with a short quiz to assess what you’ve learned.
