Room service is a personalized service that gives guests the opportunity to enjoy food and drink in the comfort and privacy of their own room. In this course, we will review the basics of room service. We’ll begin by explaining why hotels and inns should offer this service.
From there, we’ll go over the equipment you need to conduct room service and the spaces you’ll occupy. We’ll also go over best practices for providing room service, including how to prep for service, how to take and process orders, tray layout, delivery and more. This course includes a video presentation, supplementary material for future reference and a post-assessment quiz to review what you’ve learned.
