Hispanic Heritage Month (U.S.)

Did you know that Hispanic Americans are the largest ethnic minority group in the United States? In this course, you’ll explore the significance and origins of Hispanic Heritage Month. You’ll also be introduced to influential Hispanic Americans in U.S. history and culture. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to identify ways to participate in the celebration. The OpenDoors Celebrations Series builds opportunities to learn about, recognize, and celebrate a diverse range of holidays and observances. These courses help foster and support belonging, empathy, and allyship in both your work environment and community.
