Hazard Identification and Risk Control

A successful hazard management program involves hazard identification, assessment of the risks and the implementation of control measures. An alert workforce constantly on the lookout for hazards and a refined reporting system ensures management can make more informed and better quality WHS decisions, whilst workers will have ‚“buy in‚” . This Hazard Identification & Risk Control course will promote consultation between workers who are exposed to the hazards and officers or supervisors from the area concerned.Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the definition of a hazard, components of a hazard management program, and the various risk control measures that can be implemented using the Hierarchy of Controls. This course is one part of a 36 part Induction Series aimed at blue-collar workers.
