Handling the Media During a Crisis

It’s important to know how you can handle the media during the crisis and know guidelines that will help you to do that. This module will provide you with some basic guidelines that will help you.
During a crisis, you should keep these goals in mind:
Offer information to reduce the chance of speculation and inaccurate information that been reported to the public.
Never say “No Comment.” Instead, tell reporters the situation is still in reviewing the process and you will have a statement as soon as you have all of the facts.
