Power tools can be potentially dangerous. If poorly maintained or used incorrectly or carelessly, they can cause serious injury or death. This Handheld Power Tools course highlights worker responsibilities when using power tools and outlines the most common injuries caused with their use. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt what actions are likely to cause injury, the types of PPE that should be used, and various safety tips for safe handheld power tool use. This course is one part of a 36 part Induction Series aimed at blue-collar workers.
