Hand and Power Tools – Table Saws: Point of Operation

This course focuses on the safe operation of table saws, emphasizing injury prevention and awareness. Participants will gain insights into the two main types of injuries associated with table saws: contact injuries, involving body parts coming in contact with the blade, and non-contact injuries, such as blunt trauma, eye or respiratory injuries, and strains and sprains. The course provides preventive measures, including the use of guards, push sticks, and brakes, to mitigate the risk of injuries during table saw operation.
