Google Sheets is part of a bundle of office applications called Google Docs office suite. It is comparable to the Microsoft Office Excel program. It is available online and is free. This course will cover the basics of creating, saving, copying, and deleting a spreadsheet, plus how to upload and download documents. Also, you will learn how to enter data and move between cells, create a formula, and install add-ons. The course goes in depth into editing cells on your spreadsheet, including special paste options. You will learn how to format cells, including formatting data; use the paint format tool; merge and group cells; and insert an image, chart, drawing or form into a cell. The course also covers collaboration and sharing Google Sheets with others, including setting permissions, using the Comments feature, and tracking changes. Lastly, you will learn how to work with data, including using filters, functions, conditional formatting, and the Explore tool.
