GDPR: EU Regulation

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the EU norm regarding the protection of personal data. From 25 May 2018, citizens, businesses, public bodies, associations and freelance professionals will benefit from important developments concerning the processing of personal data.
The Regulation provides for more transparency, common rules for data processing, the right to be forgotten, data portability, but also: greater protection of minors, harsher sanctions for infringements, a one-stop-shop counter and much more.
