Food Safety: The Law and You

Food poisoning is an illness that can affect anyone, and has the potential to cause serious harm. Legislation now requires that all businesses and volunteer organisations that handle food, consistently provide safe food. This Food Safety course on The Law and You provides your staff with good knowledge of their safety and hygienic requirements, minimising the chances of a food poison outbreak in your business. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt what a food safety program entails, the food safety laws, your responsibilities and the consequences to you if your organisation breaches those laws. This course is one part of a 19 part Food Safety Series aimed staff and management of anywhere food is manufactured, processed or served.
