This course is designed to educate entities in the food service industry on how to protect staff and customers from communital transmission of infectious diseases. In addition to standard food safety and handling protocols, amidst the current COVID-19 pandemic, special lessons on viral management and awareness are included. Practicing self-care and following established protocols can not only ensure a safe work environment, but also maintain team confidence knowing the contribution each individual is making.
