A food safety program is based on the principles of H.A.C.C.P, an internationally accepted prevention and risk based safety program. A well implemented food safety program is designed to improve the safety of food handling practices, and ultimately reduce the risk of food contamination and illness. This Food Safety course on Food Safety Programs will provide your staff with knowledge of what a food safety program contains. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the importance of a training program, as well as features of the food safety program such as incident reporting and corrective action. This course is one part of a 19 part Food Safety Series aimed staff and management of anywhere food is manufactured, processed or served.
