Food poisoning is an extremely common illness that can affect anyone, and has the potential to cause serious harm. This 10 Causes of Food Poisoning course provides a list of the 10 main causes of food poisoning. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt about the dangers of preparing food too far in advance, cooling the food too slowly, not reheating adequately and undercooking. You will also have learnt about the safety and hygiene requirements to minimise the chances of a food poisoning outbreak. This course is one part of a 19 part Food Safety Series aimed staff and management of anywhere food is manufactured, processed or served.
