Exercising with Mindfulness

Many people think exercising is just about strengthening your body. But you can get even more benefits out of your workout by infusing it with mindfulness. This audio-only course is led by Dr. Cortland Dahl, a research scientist, meditation teacher, and Chief Contemplative Officer at HMI who spent eight years translating Tibetan Buddhist texts before getting his Ph.D. in neuroscience. In this course, you’ll practice bringing a sense of awareness to your breath and physical sensations. You’ll also learn to notice your environment and how it impacts your thoughts and feelings. After this course, you’ll have a practice you can revisit any time to strengthen your body’s connection to the present moment.
