This course focuses on the advanced-level tools and functions of Excel 2008 and teaches you how to customize your worksheets, sort and filter data effectively, and perform complex analyses. You’ll learn how to create custom templates and work with custom number, date, and time formats. You’ll advance your knowledge of charts and discover how to modify the plot area, legend, value and category axis. You’ll discover how to add a trendline to display your data and predict future trends. Data validation is critical to making accurate decisions, and in this course you’ll discover how to specify validation criteria and set rule messages. The course also shows you how to create outlines, consolidate your worksheets, analyze your data using scenarios, and share your files while protecting your important data.
