Ethics in the Workplace

Ethics in the workplace can be an ambiguous term. There are many different aspects to it, but all of these contribute to its meaning and relevance. From maintaining a positive relationship with coworkers, respecting human dignity at work, or even being ethical when dealing with customers: employers need not adhere only to one set code of ethics- they should abide by their own personal sense of morality as well. This way they will feel more fulfilled while working within themselves rather than feeling like following a strict list that others have imposed upon them is ‚Äúthe right thing” because it came from someone who has power over him/her such as his employer (his boss).
