Empower New Managers

Empowering the new managers can give them a sense of security, that they are able to handle their own work. In order for this empowerment and trust in-turn to happen, it is important that all management levels understand what type of managerial skill set is required from each manager. This will allow for appropriate training/development support which does not only focus on general “managerial” skills but also specific tasks within an organization’s functions or departments.

As time goes by there are more responsibilities being delegated down lower into subordinate level employees because senior leaders feel less responsible with those duties due to age and workload issues; therefore leverage your power as boss by empowering up-coming managers who may need some help staying afloat when such pressure mounts.
