Employment Termination Checklist

When meeting with an employee who is about to be terminated, the employer needs a list of things that need to happen before they can fire them. The termination checklist helps employers make sure all necessary tasks are completed and if there’s something missing or not done properly, the company has proof that their steps were taken correctly.
As part of preparing for firing someone, it would help most employees if management had created a well-thought out checklist so everything was covered in case anything fell through during an internal process.
