Employee Motivation: Job Dimensions

There are many ways to motivate your employees as a manager. A relatively new model of motivation has been proposed and has become extremely influential; the job characteristics model, proposed by Hackman and Oldham, describes five core job dimensions. These dimensions lead to three critical psychological states, which result in desirable performance outcomes.
