Learning how electricity works is a key part of our course, Electrical Safety: 04. Understanding Grounding. Grounding is the most common safety measure related to electricity. You will learn what grounding means, what the two types of grounding are and how they work, and what are the requirements for use.

You’ve probably heard the term, “it short-circuited”. In this course, we discuss how that reveals a safety issue which could have been prevented if the source was grounded. We talk about the regulations put in place by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) relating to electrical grounding. The primary message in this course is that grounding increases safety and reduces the risk of injury. After taking this course, downloadable materials are available for further review.
