Drugs and Alcohol

In the interests of health and safety, it is a requirement that all staff come to work in a fit state to perform their tasks safely. This Drugs & Alcohol course explores the risks associated with having a worker affected by alcohol and/or illicit or prescribed drugs in the workplace. By having an educated workforce, your organization will reduce the risks of lateness and absenteeism, lost time and production from accidents, inefficiency, and the possible damage to plant, equipment and other property. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the definition of a drug, examples of legal and illegal drugs, problems caused at work by drug and alcohol abuse, and your worker responsibilities. This course is one part of a 36 part Induction Series aimed at blue-collar workers.
