Doesn’t everyone deserve a chance at a good life? | Jim Yong Kim | TED Talk

In his TED Talk, Jim Yong Kim poses the question “Doesn’t everyone deserve a chance at a good life?” Citing examples from his own life experiences, including his parents’ refugee status and his childhood in Korea, Kim calls on individuals to work to improve the quality of life, healthcare and finances of those in developing countries. Kim suggests that global exposure to technology and social media is rapidly increasing aspirations worldwide, and that we as a society must commit to social change in order for reality meet the rising expectations for quality of life.
