Diversity – Think Beyond the Binary

Don’t expect to be able to tell people‘s gender identity by looking at them. Ask them which pronouns they prefer. If you do make a mistake about someone’s gender identity, apologise briefly and move on, try to be open and responsive. Respect people’s choice of facilities and encourage others to do so, too.
