Ditching and Survival – Fixed Wing Aircraft

The aim of this course is to ensure that Pilots and Cabin Crew have the required knowledge on how to prepare for an emergency landing on water, are aware of the flotation devices found on board various aircraft types, and are aware of the survival essentials at sea, both with or without a life raft. Important Note: This course covers the theoretical component of Ditching Training only. Some Operators and Civil Aviation Authorities require Crew to complete a practical component, involving raft management as well as certain swimming survival exercises.
