Discrimination/Bias in AI

This course sheds light on the issue of bias in artificial intelligence (AI) systems. The course emphasizes the importance of understanding AI bias and its potential harm to individuals and companies. It explores the sources of AI bias, such as correlated attributes, and highlights the role of auditing AI systems and using “human-in-the-loop” processes to mitigate bias. The course also discusses the adoption of synthetic data and counter-factual fairness approaches to minimize AI bias. The course will take around 9 minutes to complete and is designed for use on desktop, laptop, mobile and tablet.
