Definition of Communication

Communication is an important element in the success of any business. Communication is the process of sharing information, transmitting ideas between one or more people. Communication may include verbal and non-verbal methods such as writing, signs, signals, pictures making sounds through a spoken word in order to share thoughts with someone else. This can happen over any distance along with time but it also includes digital communication like emailing text messages and social media posts which use various forms of electronic communication.
