When you have to make a decision, whether it’s personal or professional, simple or complex, it’s important to ensure you’re working with accurate information in order to make the right choice. In our Decision Making Basics: 01. Gathering Information course, we will analyze how to gather credible evidence before making a decision.

In this course, we will explore how to make choices based on the right evidence, how to tell the difference between data and knowledge, and how to determine if the evidence you gather is valid and credible. We’ll also consider “analysis paralysis” and when you should stop gathering evidence and make a decision. This course includes a video presentation, downloadable student material for future reference and concludes with a short quiz for self-assessment.
