Every decision has consequences, but sometimes there are outcomes that we don’t expect. In this course, we’ll define unintended consequences in decision-making and explain the five reasons they occur. We’ll also review the three types of unintended consequences and go over strategies you can use to uncover hypothetical outcomes and consequences before they occur.
