Customer Service

Customer service is the direct one-on-one interaction between a consumer making a purchase or asking for help and a representative of the company. In other words, customer service agents typically make phone calls, serve customers in-store or online, and answer emails for companies like airlines. This job is often filled with the responsibility of making difficult decisions about how to handle a variety of situations that might arise during interactions with clients. The work can be physically demanding as well – everything from physical labor such as picking up blue bags from stores to lifting heavy objects may be part of the line of duty.
