Credit Unions: Credit Union Regulations

Much like banks, credit unions are regulated and supervised. In this elearning course, Credit Union Regulations, we will discuss the main federal regulator for credit unions, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). In the course we will look at the role of the NCUA to understand their position in examining credit unions and completing insurance reviews. We will also discuss the NCUSIF, or National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, as well as state regulatory agencies to give you a broad understanding of the regulations that apply to credit unions.
