Creating a Portfolio

A portfolio is a collection of the work you have completed and what you are proud of. This is typically done in order to show others, such as potential employers or professional organizations that they can trust your ability to do the job well with their company. A strong portfolio will showcase skills like attention-to-detail, time management and creativity which are all essential parts of any successful career strategy. You should also consider highlighting abilities pertaining to certain areas where it would be beneficial for an employer e.g., marketing knowledge if applying for a position on this side or design expertise if looking at other opportunities.
