If your work involves long stints in front of a computer, the way you sit at your desk will make an enormous difference to how you feel at the end of the day. There are a multitude of factors that determine whether a sitting posture might lead to repetitive strain issues or not. This Computer Ergonomics course will highlight those factors, with the aim of reducing or eliminating repetitive strain and/or musculoskeletal injuries in your workplace. Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the ideal posture for working in front of computer to minimize neck and shoulder strain, a range of simple stretching exercises and the importance of taking regular breaks. This course is one part of a 36 part Induction Series aimed at blue-collar workers.
