Communication at Work: Improved Listening Techniques

Listening skills are crucial for effective communication, fostering better relationships, and enhancing understanding. Good listening allows for a deeper comprehension of information, reducing misunderstandings and conflicts. This Improved Listening Techniques course features two scenarios, one showing improper behaviour and the other improved behaviour.

Once the course is completed, you will have learnt the importance of paying attention; sitting up and listening, making eye contact and clarifying ‚- by paraphrasing and asking questions.
This course is one part of a 9 part Communication at Work Series aimed at all staff to enhance communication skills.
