Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT) accidents occur when an airworthy aircraft, under the complete control of the pilot, is inadvertently flown into terrain, water, or an obstacle. The pilots are generally unaware of the danger until it is too late.

CFIT remains of one the most common accident types and in this course will how CFIT accidents occur and how to avoid them. This program will provide pilots with a deep understanding of GPWS and EGPWS, and their role in avoiding CFIT accidents.
