Carcinogen Safety

Carcinogens pose significant risks in the workplace, and exposure to them can cause chronic health conditions, including cancer. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential, but isn’t enough to prevent exposure. This course explains how to effectively work with carcinogens, including proper¬†ventilation¬†and containment measures. Participants will learn how to educate themselves about carcinogens in their work setting,¬†maintain¬†proper hygiene, and handle an incident of exposure. The course emphasizes the importance of effective documentation for safety incidents and awareness. By the end of this course, participants will know¬†how to reduce their risks with handling carcinogens in the workplace. The course will take around 6 minutes to complete and is designed for use on desktop, laptop, mobile and tablet.
