Bloodborne Pathogens: Exposure Prevention

This course focuses on raising awareness of the risks associated with bloodborne pathogens in various workplaces, dispelling the misconception that these risks are exclusive to healthcare settings. Participants will learn that exposure to bloodborne pathogens can occur in any work environment and be caused by incidents as commonplace as accidents requiring first aid or cleaning tasks. The course emphasizes the importance of staying vigilant, recognizing potential sources of infection, and implementing preventive measures, such as the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to create a safer workplace.
