Basics of Generation Gaps

What generations exist in the workplace?
Three different generations are present in workplaces (baby boomers, gen Xers and millennials). What distinguishes each generation is how they were brought up. With the baby boomer generation coming of age during economic prosperity and being raised with an emphasis on family values which has led them to be more loyal employees than their younger counterparts who have been born into a time that emphasizes work over all else resulting them to show greater loyalty towards employers.
