Asking Powerful Questions

In the Asking Powerful Questions lesson, you will learn how to create and ask powerful questions. Sometimes we ask questions to clarify what someone just said. Sometimes we want to know more. Sometimes we ask questions to enforce accountability, and sometimes we use questions to lead others toward our own way of seeing a situation. Powerful questions are different. They provoke ideas from the other person instead of leading the person to our ideas. The goal is to prompt others‚It’ thinking and help them do the work of challenging the stories they are telling themselves about the situation.
