Gratitude is a key ingredient in well-being. You can cultivate feelings of gratitude in the workplace by developing appreciation for your teammates. This audio-only course is led by Dr. Cortland Dahl, a research scientist, meditation teacher, and Chief Contemplative Officer at HMI who spent eight years translating Tibetan Buddhist texts before getting his Ph.D. in neuroscience. In this course, he’ll guide you in a mindfulness practice to strengthen bonds with your team. You’ll learn how to notice the contributions of your teammates – things you respect, value, or enjoy about them. You’ll also learn how to develop feelings of appreciation to strengthen bonds within your team. After this course, you’ll be able to use a helpful mindfulness tool to practice the skill of appreciation.
Note: This course can be taken independently or side-by-side with team members in a remote or in-person setting.
