Advocating for Equal Pay for Equal Work

In Advocating for Equal Pay for Equal Work, you’ll learn how you can help work toward pay equity as an employee or as a manager. The pay gap between women’s and men’s salaries can be discouraging: women are paid less than men in almost every occupation. But, there are things we can all do for gender equality in the workplace. You’ll learn how to recognize your worth and strengths, show solidarity with other women, and speak directly with your manager about your concerns. Managers will also gain tips for more equitable hiring and promotions. Lastly, we look at how the gender pay gap affects non-binary employees.

This course is delivered in the form of a video with narration and helpful illustrations throughout.
