The Administrative Excellence: 09. Acting as Gatekeeper course is for you if your personal company workspace is the front desk. As the gatekeeper, you filter everyone and everything that crosses the threshold. It’s your job to decide who and what comes in, and whether or not they get past your desk. You may also be the person who takes general phone calls and decides if those calls end with you or are transferred to someone else.

This gatekeeping course discusses how to become that effective gatekeeper, one whose decisions benefit the company and its personnel. You’ll acquire tips on reading people effectively and learning to discern their intent. And most importantly, you’ll learn that you set the tone on behalf of your workplace - so self-awareness, confidence and kindness are essential. This course is Number 9 in our Administrative Excellence Series.
