Active Shooter Awareness

The Active Shooter Awareness Course equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize, respond to, and mitigate the risks associated with active shooter incidents. By addressing warning signs, enhancing situational awareness, and practicing effective communication, this course prepares individuals to act decisively in high-stress scenarios. Participants will learn critical incident response strategies, including evacuation, sheltering in place, and reporting emergencies, all while understanding the importance of a well-designed Emergency Action Plan (EAP). Through comprehensive training and drills, this course fosters preparedness, resilience, and a proactive mindset to safeguard lives during potential crises.
