The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has issued guidelines for employers in all states that recommends they ‚“should provide [harassment prevention] training to all employees to ensure they understand their rights and responsibilities.‚” Supervisor training covers the same important topics as Non-Supervisor training, but is designed keeping in mind that supervisors have more influence over the workplace, and more responsibility when it comes to recognizing and preventing harassment, and responding to harassment incidents.
